How much do we really know about our parents’ lives or the way our grandparents lived? Many lived through World Wars, a depression and massive social change - lives our children would find unimaginable.
Surely their stories are worth saving for future generations. In the past, biographies were only written about the very rich and famous. Now, everyone’s life story can be told - in a high quality hardback book that will be treasured by their children, grandchildren and their grandchildren’s childrenThere has been an enormous growth in interest in geneology in recent years, with many people spending long hours researching their family tree. However, the greatest gift for future generations is to record the stories of theliving. The trouble is time gets in the way.
How many of us intend to write down the anecdotes and memories of a parent or grand-parent, but never seem to get the the time? After all, they can tell you so much about their parents and grand-parents - much more than a records office or history centre. This information is priceless and is worth not just recording, but celebrating with a wonderful biography of their lives.
