Glutz Photography
Bachelor’s degree in Digital Art & Design at Long Island University,
C.W. Post campus. Her latest series entitled “Petals” illustrates her
passion for the beauty and eloquence of nature. Her design method
intertwines with her belief that “if you feel something strongly enough,
you can get other people to feel it too,” and some have even mentioned
that through her photographs you can almost smell the fragrance of the
flowers through the print.
Photography for me is about capturing the essence of objects that you see in every day life that might have been overlooked, and maybe see it in a way that you have never seen it before.” Her style is unique in the respect that Kimberly’s artistic expression sometimes resembles the look of both photograph and painting; in fact her creative influence combines the likes of both Georgia O'Keeffe and Robert Mapplethorpe. She has recently begun printing her artwork on stretched canvas to further that painterly feel even more. New for 2010, Kimberly introduced her 4x4 inch framed ribbon hung home collection. You can custom order your photo and frame color to match your décor. This series will be in a traveling gallery exhibit & library tour blooming on display this spring and summer
