Peach Cobbler
This is the recipe my mother always used, and I have never found
anywhere! We have always loved it, and I'm so glad that we're not the
only ones using it! Also, if you want to use whole wheat flour, adding
sour cream will help it be more fluffy. Recently, in an attempt at
living healthily, I do not use the amount of sugar it calls for, and add
just a tad more flour and baking powder, but for years I made it
exactly as it says, minus the juice. We prefer just the fruit dropped
onto it so it isn't runny. It's so tasty. I always double or quadruple
this recipe. The butter has to be real butter, otherwise it tastes
funny. The buttery, crispy, chewy crust is the best part!
