Spawned from the belly of the caldera, Magnetic Drill Gang is a
three-piece band that plays original alt-rock, cuntry blues groove,
garage jamming, trucking music.MDG comprises Brett Callaghan as guitar twangler, vitriolic vocalist
and part-time drummer; Ricci Rasso as bass plucker and part-time front
man and Sally Cooper as drum thumper and part-time bass chick.MDG draw inspiration from successful bank heists, lifes bumpy roads,
gin and tonic, cider, triple-shot coffee, verandah jams, sunsets over
cane fields and mountain ranges, broken hearts, broken minds and the
restorative power of music.MDG have an adaptable set with up to an hour worth of originals and
up to three one-hour sets with covers thrown in. New originals are
